Pullups, Pullups, and Pullups

We did a workout called Fran yesterday at the gym. Fran consisted of 21-15-9 of Thrusters and Pullups. There was no one that could do the pullups as prescribed except the two trainers. We need to work on pullups a lot more. We will be talking to each of you to figure out how we can help you get closer to a kipping pullup soon. Here is a video instructing a group of CrossFiters how to do a kippping pullup. See what you can get from this video and apply it to your pullups. The more you see other people getting instructed on the pullup the closer you will be to your own kipping pullup.

We will start focusing on nutrition in the blog as well. Please read CrossFit Journal 21 if you already have not. If you have please read it again. It can’t hurt your knowledge of nutrition if you read it again. I personally have read through it at least 3 times and am probably due to read it again. We will talk about items from the article and other various nutrition sources on the blog as the year progresses.
